How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
At this point, ISE feels like an annual class reunion for the pro audio industry. I’ve attended so many editions that I’d probably need to dig out old exhibitor badges to give you an exact number! Over the years, I’ve been closely involved in shaping our booth messaging and overall design concept.
Overall, how was ISE 2026 for you?
Looking back, it was a great show for us. Our new booth concept, built around the theme “Moved by Sound,” attracted a broad mix of visitors. With our connected brand applications simulating a large multi-purpose venue, the eGaming racing contest at the center of our booth, and several products celebrating their world premieres on display, we consciously tried something new in both experience and design. In the end, it really paid off.
We successfully engaged both established pro audio users, who came for the depth of our product portfolio and hands-on demos, and the next generation of users. Many young visitors, some of them still of school age, took part in our racing competition and experienced our brands in a fun, accessible way. It showed that the enjoyment of professional audio technology translated well across generations.
Numbers were up again, so how was footfall for you, and what about the quality of leads?
For me, this was the most successful ISE appearance I’ve seen so far. The footfall was constantly strong, and just as importantly, the quality of the leads was outstanding.
Did you engage with the ISE Daily, either by reading it or by contributing editorially or promotionally?
Yes, absolutely. We followed it closely and also contributed by submitting our product news.
Did you nominate any of your products for the Best of Show awards? If not, do you have a particular reason?
Yes, we nominated the V Series Zone Audio Platform from Dynacord and the new DICENTIS Multimedia Device for conferencing from Bosch. Receiving two awards for the V Series Zone Audio Platform and one for the Bosch Multimedia Device was a fantastic result for us; in fact our best ever! It means a lot to us, as it is a powerful validation of the team’s innovation, engineering excellence, and customer focus. Everyone is over the moon.
Is there anything you’d like to see improved at ISE in 2027?
From my perspective, the show has evolved very positively over the past few years, so the organisers are clearly heading in the right direction. Some people mentioned that three show days might be enough, and the traffic situation around the venue could still be improved. That said, there are always small details to fine-tune. But overall, the ISE show concept works for us very well.
