Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW), a maker of professional loudspeaker systems, has expanded its representation by HWPco, a manufacturers’ representative firm based in the Southeast US, to include Florida and the Caribbean. The move builds on HWPco’s existing EAW coverage of the Southeast.
HWPco’s Florida territory covers the Panhandle and Central and Southern Florida. The firm will also work to grow EAW’s presence in the Caribbean, where demand for professional audio systems is rising across hospitality, houses of worship, live entertainment and other applications.
The appointment gives integrators, rental companies and venues in the region a local partner for specifying, deploying and supporting EAW systems. HWPco will provide dedicated local sales, demonstration, training and support.
Kevin Duthu, director of operations and principal at HWPco, said: “EAW has been one of the most respected names in live sound for decades, and it’s an honor to have them on our line card for the past few years in the Southeast. Extending coverage into Florida was the natural next step to expand and amplify their story. They haven’t taken their foot off the gas pedal, and we’re extremely excited for what’s next.”
