FASTSIGNS UK signage specialists have been recognised for their achievements at the company’s annual UK Convention, held at The Marriott Hotel in Leicester.
The Convention celebrates the individual successes of the 24-strong FASTSIGNS UK network, while also providing them with the opportunity to meet with external partners and showcase successful projects and innovations.
This follows on from the annual FASTSIGNS International Convention which took place in February in Grapevine, Texas, and saw over 900 people attend, with eight UK-based centres from FASTSIGNS UK honoured with awards at the global event.
At this year’s UK Convention, centre teams became recipients of awards including the Comprehensive Customer Solutions and Mentor Award, each recognising the impact made locally by the network’s branches across a variety of industries. A highlight from the event included FASTSIGNS Peterborough’s franchise owner, Paul Robinson, scooping the Franchisee of the Year Award for his role in driving forward the growth and development of his centre.
FASTSIGNS Hammersmith’s Joe Dodd has also been crowned the title of Employee of the Year 2022, for his role as production manager. With over a decade’s worth of experience at the signage specialist, Joe was given recognition for his loyal and outstanding commitment to the centre.
Commenting on the success of the convention, John Davies, managing director at FASTSIGNS UK, said: “This year’s convention has been one of our best yet. Since we last met, we’ve welcomed some new faces to the network, introduced new customers and experienced yet another successful year helping to provide a variety of businesses with the highest quality signage solutions. Ahead of what will very likely be a turbulent year ahead, with the cost of living crisis an ever-present challenge, it’s been great to get the team together and get their perspective on the landscape across the UK.
