Visionary Solutions has partnered with tvONE to integrate its 5 Series AVoIP platform with the CALICO PRO video processor, enabling video sources distributed across an IP network to be processed for video walls and returned to the network for distribution to displays.
The workflow uses Visionary 5 Series decoders to deliver HDMI signals to CALICO PRO inputs. The processor’s HDMI outputs can then connect to Visionary 5 Series encoders, distributing the processed video to displays elsewhere on the network. The arrangement is designed to link AVoIP distribution with centralised video processing.
tvONE’s engineering team tested Visionary endpoints with its input and output modules, assessing resolutions, frame rates, Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) and image quality. The companies confirmed interoperability across the configurations evaluated, including the transport of 4K video over a gigabit network.

Integrators now have a path for feeding Visionary’s distributed sources into a video wall and sending processed output back out to displays across a facility.”
For control rooms, the combined workflow allows sources from different locations on the network to feed a centralised CALICO PRO processor, which arranges them across a video wall. Visionary’s 5 Series platform handles signal transport between source locations, the processor and remote displays, providing a route for integrating distributed video sources with centralised processing.
