FS joins SDVoE Alliance to drive AVoIP innovation

Global ICT provider FS.COM (FS) becomes Adopting Member of nonprofit alliance dedicated to standardising Ethernet-based AVoIP across pro AV industry

FS.COM Inc. (FS), a global provider of information and communication technology solutions, has joined the SDVoE Alliance as an Adopting Member to help drive the adoption of Ethernet-based AVoIP across pro AV environments.

SDVoE Developer Certification Program

Founded in 2009, FS develops networking, data centre and telecom solutions for enterprise and service provider applications, supplying more than 450,000 customers in over 200 countries. The company’s products include switches and network infrastructure designed for mission-critical deployments.

Mikel Tang, product lead at FS, said: “FS switches and networking solutions bring a scalable Ethernet foundation and a unified management experience to enterprise scenarios. That is why we chose to partner with the SDVoE platform. SDVoE’s distributed audio-video architecture, built on standard Ethernet, is a natural fit with our AVoIP switch lineup and enables high-quality audio and video transport and display over existing networks.”

By joining the SDVoE Alliance, FS will work alongside fellow members to promote flexible, standardised and performance-driven AVoIP solutions. The collaboration combines FS’s networking expertise with the SDVoE platform’s focus on interoperability and open standards.

Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance, added: “FS’ commitment to reliable, high-speed networking and its global customer reach will further strengthen the ecosystem as we continue to expand AVoIP adoption across enterprise and professional markets.”

The SDVoE platform provides a unified Ethernet-based framework for AV extension, switching, video walls, multiview processing and KVM applications.
