Extron has released a Professional AV over IP Design Guide, a resource for integrators planning networked AV systems in settings such as control rooms, corporate meeting spaces, classrooms and large education networks. The company says it is designed to support the design and deployment of secure, reliable systems.
The document outlines the layered architecture and principles that underpin professional AVoIP, and includes coverage of the company’s NAV Pro platform. Detailed illustrations and real-world system examples are used to explain the networking technologies and design strategies involved.
Casey Hall, chief marketing officer at Extron, said: “AVoIP offers tremendous flexibility and scalability, but navigating the underlying technologies can be challenging. Our Professional AV over IP Design Guide helps demystify these concepts and provides a roadmap for creating successful networked AV systems.”
