Nureva has launched Room Assistant, an AI-powered feature for its Nureva Console device management and monitoring platform. Now in beta, the tool uses natural-language chat to help IT teams find information about Nureva audio systems and manage collaboration spaces.
Room Assistant draws on Nureva’s knowledge base to answer product-related questions through a text-based interface. The company says this is the first step towards developing Console into an agent-based platform that can provide greater insight into rooms and devices.
Nancy Knowlton, CEO, Nureva, said: “Room Assistant is an important first step in bringing AI-powered room intelligence to Nureva Console, giving teams faster access to trusted knowledge today while laying the foundation for more intelligent, connected and automated experiences across Nureva Console, the Nureva App and our audio systems.”
The company plans to extend the platform with AI-powered room and device data, with proposed features including augmented room insights, intelligent optimisation and automated diagnostics. Voice interaction with Room Assistant is also planned, alongside functionality intended to identify issues and recommend next steps.
Room Assistant is currently available as a no-charge beta, with customers able to register to participate and provide feedback on future functionality. Nureva says the broader Console and Nureva App ecosystem is intended to support audio system deployment, setup, daily use, remote management and ongoing support across meeting rooms, classrooms, training spaces and divisible rooms.
