On distributor Syscomtec’s booth, Easescreen digital signage software is being demonstrated for the first time at ISE.
Now at Version 7.0, Easescreen comes in three levels of capability – Basic, Standard and Premium. Features include unlimited layering of content performed by the 3D rendering engine; transition effects and alpha masking; visualisations supported by the Ken Burns Effect; and fallback 2D rendering engine for low-end hardware. According to the company, production costs are low, through its native support of current content formats, while no conversion is necessary, which is said to ensure high quality display.
Easescreen also provides full support for interactivity, which is assuming increasing significance in digital signage applications. It provides full touch-screen support for use in, for example, guidance systems, together with integration of sensors such as approximation and detection sensors. RFID and barcode integration is also possible, as is support for audience measurement systems.
