World’s largest ambient-light rejecting projection screen

Available in sizes up to 390in (9.9m) diagonally in 16:9, Slate Micro Seam is claimed to be the world’s largest ambient-light rejecting screen.

Screen Innovations has announced a new projection screen model that is its largest and most affordable screen option to date. Available in sizes up to 390in (9.9m) diagonally in 16:9, Slate Micro Seam is claimed to be the world’s largest ambient-light rejecting screen. It is designed for commercial or retail environments.

The screen material is manufactured using a radio frequency welding technique that creates a permanent bond and an airtight seal between two materials. The seam is said to be invisible at distances of 20ft (6m) or more – which is far closer than the viewing distance for this size of screen.

Skyler Meek, SI’s director of marketing, said: “Since Slate was introduced, it has become one of the most popular ambient-light rejecting screen options up to 200in diagonally. Now with Slate Micro Seam, we have expanded our manufacturing capabilities to infinity and beyond!”

Slate Micro Seam screens are available now.

Screen Innovations’ website features Screen Calculator, Screen Wizard, and Projector Wizard online tools, which are designed to simplify choosing the right screen for each project based on lighting, room size, seating distance and more.
