signagelive powering UK airport DOOH network

Regional airport advertising company Airport Partners is making use of the signagelive 'Software as a Service' (SaaS) digital signage platform.

Regional airport advertising company Airport Partners is making use of the signagelive ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) digital signage platform. The advertising operation spent six months evaluating various digital signage software platforms before specifying signagelive to power its Digital Screen advertising network across nine UK regional airports.

Factors that influenced the selection of signagelive included its ability to provide a fully managed, web-based solution without any upfront capital expenditure and with fixed, predictable ongoing costs. The system’s integration with various airport flight information display systems and division of on-screen slots into different dynamic content feeds were also cited as important benefits.

“We are thrilled to have secured such a sought-after contract and to work with Paula Oliver and the Airport Partners team to roll-out their DOOH offering over the coming months,” said Jason Cremins, CEO of Remote Media Limited, the company behind signagelive. “We are working closely with them to upgrade the existing screen networks to signagelive at each airport and are working on several projects to add further additional screen solutions identified by the Airport Partners team.”

Paula Oliver, MD of Airport Partners, added: “We are totally committed to providing our airports and clients with a fantastic digital product. signagelive, we feel, is the most reliable, flexible and cost-effective digital signage software solution. It is already running successfully on our screen network in Exeter Airport (pictured) and we will rollout over the next 12 months across 80 existing screens. We are really excited about working with Jason and the team on some other truly fantastic projects as well…. so watch this space!”

Considering the overall outlook for the UK install market, Cremins told IE: “Through our distributors, resellers and strategic partners, signagelive is being incorporated as the digital signage platform for a whole range of applications from single school reception areas to multi-site media network such as the Airport Partners project. We are seeing a huge move from expensive on-premise digital signage solutions to signagelive where a standard PC and fixed or mobile internet connection are all that are needed to be up and running with a fully supported digital signage network in a matter of minutes.

“In addition, signagelive is the perfect solution for second-generation digital signage networks such as Airport Partners, where existing PCs and displays have already been purchased, and the existing digital signage software no longer meets the needs of [the] network operator.”
