Pro Sound Awards 2014: Powersoft can raise the treble

First-time Pro Sound Awards finalist Powersoft has taken this year’s awards by the scruff of the neck having been nominated for no fewer than three different awards.

“Being named as a finalist, not in one but three categories, gave us a positive feeling of achievement already,” commented Luca Giorgi, Powersoft Pro Audio BU Manager.

The company finds itself up against the likes of Funktion One, EM Acoustics and Meyer Sound in the Best Permanent Installation category. The project for which it has been nominated, the Wall of Bass, features Powersoft D-Cell504 IS high power amplifier modules installed in an Austrian club.

“Winning an award will be recognition that we, as a company, are proceeding in the right direction, showing the industry that not only the hard work we are doing internally is paying off, but also that we are working with the right network of distributors and partners,” added Giorgi.

On 25 September, London’s world-class Ministry of Sound will play host to a night of drinking and commendation which will be preceded by ‘The Pre-Roll’ – a new feature of the event encompassing two hours of conversation and panel discussion with leading lights of the industry.

Sennheiser is main sponsor of the event. Other sponsorship opportunities are still available – for more information please contact ryan.odonnel@intentmedia.co.uk
