Osram has brought together design and efficiency with the new OLED luminaire for offices.
The suspended luminaire with a distinctive appearance is equipped with 16 square OLED panels, and the technical basis of the design product is the latest generation of the Orbeos OLED panel that enables luminaires to be developed with luminous efficacy similar to LEDs.
Efficiency is one of the essential factors that helps OLED lighting in achieving its breakthrough, and the new Orbeos OLED panel generation from Osram is already more efficient than alternative energy-saving lamps.
Werner Aisslinger, the designer of the OLED luminaire, has recently been acclaimed Designer of the Year 2014 by the magazine Architektur & Wohnen.
