Unilumin’s new Mini-LED 0.9mm guaranteed to”stand out from the crowd”

Manufacturer believes new mass production offering will become a go-to solution for the industry

Unilumin last week officially launched its new MP Mini-LED to global clients on the first day of ISE 2019 in Amsterdam.

Unilumin says it has worked on research and development for several years, alongside significant investment, to make the mass production of a Mini-LED product possible.

Speaking at the launch event for the Mini-LED, Dorothy Zhang, director of international sales department Unilumin Group, said: “We believe that the combination of narrow pixel pitch and stock availability on a large scale ensures the Mini-LED will become a go-to solution for the industry.”

Having achieved a key technical breakthrough of mass-producing Mini LED with mass transfer trinting (MTP) for chips, Unilumin is able to elevate LED displays to a new level. The new solution goes beyond LCD and LED signage by achieving a one-off transfer of 20,000 chips for the MP Mini-LED, whilst increasing the final pass yield to 99.997 per cent.

Unilumin MP Mini-LED supports 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) with WCG (Wide Color Gamut) and ‘super high’ contrast ratio of 10000:1, MP Mini-LED could deliver a revolutionary viewing experience with pure black, true color and epic clarity to end users.

MP Mini-LED also benefits from exclusive encapsulation technology applied by its independent R&D team. Accordingly, One-off encapsulation of the PCB makes protection class of the display IP54 and ensures a perfect product surface. With high-barrier film material and integrated package design, Unilumin MP Mini LED is highly dustproof, waterproof and impact-resistant.
