Clear-Com has announced that Movicom, a provider of specialty camera systems for international live events, has selected Arcadia Central Station, a scalable IP intercom platform, to support its growing intercom service offerings.
The system was supplied and integrated by Clear-Com partner Video Progetti. Through this collaboration, Movicom now offers clients two rental options: a standalone system for teams with in-house intercom expertise, or a fully supported package that includes system configuration and on-site production assistance.
Movicom is known for its camera solutions like the Robycam cable-suspended system, and has supported major productions including the Rugby World Cup, Rome Masters Tennis Tournament, and Coppa Italia Final. Movicom is expanding into intercom services with Arcadia Central Station at the core.

Movicom’s new rental offering includes 20 FreeSpeak beltpacks, with the ability to scale up to 64 beltpacks and dual Arcadia units, thanks to the partnership with Video Progetti. Movicom says that Arcadia’s interoperability with Dante, 4-wire, and third-party systems ensures integration into hybrid production environments.
