Daktronics has been selected to supply and install a large-scale LED display network across OCVIBE, a 100-acre mixed-use development currently under construction around Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The first phase of OCVIBE is scheduled to open in early 2027.

The $25m technology package comprises 20,000sqft of LED displays across key public spaces including parking and arrival zones, plazas, parks, Honda Center, and Katella Commons – the district’s 50,000sqft market hall. The system is designed to deliver real-time updates and immersive visuals, enabling a mix of independent and synchronised content across the neighbourhood.
The centrepiece of the installation is a media screen in the Urban Park measuring 36ft high by 126ft wide with 8mm pixel spacing. A second marquee display, spanning the Katella and Cerritos parking garages, measures 32.5ft high by 126ft wide with 10mm pixel spacing. More than 400 additional digital displays will be installed throughout OCVIBE’s parking garages to support wayfinding, event information, and dynamic content.
Daktronics says it has partnered with Honda Center for more than 20 years, supplying a centre-hung display system used at Anaheim Ducks games, concerts, and other events, with ribbon and arena end displays refreshed in 2022.
Graham Siderius, senior vice president and chief partnerships officer at OCVIBE, said: “These digital displays aren’t just screens – they’re part of the fabric of the district, designed to guide guests, spark discovery, and create shared moments in real time.”
Robin Hall, live events regional sales manager at Daktronics, added: “When technology is integrated at the earliest stages of a mixed-use development, it becomes part of the architecture, the public realm and the guest journey, not an add-on at the end.”
