Sennheiser announces development of cloud-based platform

New platform, scheduled to launch in 2026, is being designed to simplify device management and will use robust encryption and authentication to protect data and devices

Sennheiser has announced a new cloud-based platform for IT and AV managers and system integrators, which is designed to streamline device management across enterprise, education, and corporate settings. The platform is still in development and will launch officially in 2026.

The company says the platform will conform to modern IT security practices, using robust encryption and authentication to protect data and devices. AV teams, Sennheiser says, will be able to manage devices from anywhere with real-time diagnostics, alerts, and updates.

Set-up will be completed via a web browser, with no installation required, enabling quick deployment for integrators and IT professionals.

Kai Tossing, head of product management, business communication, Sennheiser, said: “While still in development, our powerful cloud-based platform for AV and IT teams will make device management simpler, more flexible, and more accessible. The new platform will be a significant step forward, as we take many of the benefits users of our Control Cockpit software have experienced and make them available on a broader scale.”
