HK Audio makes India debut with COSMO line array system

German manufacturer has delivered its flagship system to Jodhpur-based rental company Rajan Amplifiers, which has already deployed it across more than ten major concerts

HK Audio has launched its COSMO line array system in India, delivering the first units to Rajan Amplifiers, a rental company based in Jodhpur with a focus on large-format pro sound and lighting.

The installation comprises 24 COSMO 10 units, 12 C SUB 218 subwoofers and a complete C-DRIVE amplifier configuration. Since delivery, the system has been deployed at more than ten concerts featuring Bollywood and Indian artists.

To support the launch, HK Audio international sales manager David Leonhard and application support engineer Karel Noon travelled to India in late January to conduct partner demonstrations and COSMO training. Distribution partner Hi-Tech Audio Video Systems hosted an event in Delhi for resellers and stockists, while training in Jodhpur focused on advanced optimisation including low-mid beam steering, gain and EQ shading, and cardioid subwoofer setups.

Anil Panwar, owner of Rajan Amplifiers, said: “We’ve already used COSMO substantially and it has been the best system we’ve worked with. The natural sound of HK Audio really stands out.”

Leonhard added: “The Indian market is extremely dynamic and highly competitive. With more COSMO users being established worldwide, now is the ideal time to step in and participate in the expanding live sound sector.”
