A Crest Audio system has been installed at Morabito Art Villa, a luxury hospitality and entertainment destination on Bali’s southwest coastline, to deliver consistent sound quality across its indoor and outdoor spaces, in an environment made challenging by its beachfront location just metres from the Indian Ocean.
The installation combines Crest Audio Versarray Pro line array systems with CA 218 subwoofers for low-frequency output and full-range reproduction, alongside Crest Audio CPL+ loudspeakers and Peavey SP4 loudspeakers providing flexible coverage across the venue’s lounge, dining and entertainment zones. Crest Audio Pro-LITE amplifiers and PCX digital loudspeaker management processors complete the system, handling DSP processing, crossover management, equalisation, time alignment and system protection.
The system is designed to transition between different use cases, from lounge sessions and private functions to live performances and DJ sets, while maintaining consistent tonal balance throughout the property.
Morabito Art Villa combines boutique accommodation, fine dining, private events and nightlife on Bali’s coastline, hosting international DJs and live performers as part of its entertainment programme.
Akshay Vaidya, director Asia Pacific at Peavey Commercial Audio, said the project demonstrated Crest Audio’s ability to perform in a demanding outdoor environment. “The ribbon tweeters really shine through, providing exceptional clarity and power that perfectly complements the venue’s atmosphere,” Vaidya said.
Tony Moutran, general manager at Morabito Art Villa, added: “The sound is crystal clear, and we’ve received many compliments from guests about the performance of the system,” Moutran added.
