TVC Technology Solutions, a Bolton-based AV distributor and supplier, has launched outvue, a range of purpose-built outdoor displays designed as a direct alternative to enclosure-based TV installations.
Available in 55, 65 and 75in 4K UHD screen sizes, the displays are rated IP66 for waterproofing and dust resistance, and IK10 for impact protection. A powder-coated aluminium chassis houses anti-glare-coated tempered glass, with 170/170-degree viewing angles. All three models deliver 3,000 nits of brightness and include an ambient light sensor that is designed to automatically adjust output relative to conditions.
Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs and a USB port, supporting broadcast TV and streaming devices. A standard VESA 400×400 mount is fitted across the range.
TVC positions outvue as addressing the inherent weaknesses of enclosure-based outdoor installations, where plastic housings, scratched front panels and condensation can degrade image quality over time. Target markets include pubs, sports bars, beer gardens, holiday parks and hospitality venues, as well as residential garden and pool room installations.
