HIVE Media Control has added native integration with Nexmosphere, allowing its Beeblade media players to connect directly with sensors and controllers used in interactive AV installations. The integration enables physical actions and real-world data to trigger or influence digital content.
Nexmosphere’s technology includes presence and motion detection, RFID, touch and push buttons, object detection, Lift & Learn, weight sensing and LiDAR. Sensors can connect to HIVE via USB or Ethernet, with data from multiple devices available through HIVE’s Dataflow environment.
A new Data Matching module allows integrators to create rules such as triggering content when a visitor enters a zone or presses a button. For more complex interactions, a Scripting module supports JavaScript, allowing customised logic based on sensor data.
The system can also send commands back to supported Nexmosphere devices, enabling elements such as LED lighting to respond to visitor interactions. HIVE says the integration supports its Beeblade media player range and the majority of Nexmosphere’s sensor portfolio.

The integration is being demonstrated on HIVE’s stand at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026, taking place at ExCeL London from September 22-24, and will be included in the latest HIVE software release.
