Xcellence Display Solutions has formed a dedicated European division, appointing seasoned pro AV executives Martin Ware as managing director and Tim de Ruiter as commercial director to spearhead its regional channel growth.
Operating a 21,800-square-metre manufacturing facility, the company develops and manufactures its own direct-view LED (dvLED), LCD video walls, interactive screens, digital signage displays and proprietary software platforms. The European leadership team will focus on introducing the manufacturer’s standard display catalogues and custom hardware engineering services to regional distributors, integrators and consultants.

UK-based Ware and Netherlands-based de Ruiter bring nearly 50 years of combined pro AV sales and channel management experience across the UK and EMEA regions. As part of the expansion, Xcellence has established regional operational bases across the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands to complement existing hubs in New York, Dubai and Hong Kong.
The manufacturer’s European strategy is built around delivering bespoke display hardware alongside off-the-shelf commercial panels. Leveraging dedicated internal R&D teams, the company offers customisation of screen form factors, native brightness levels, IP-rated outdoor enclosures, bespoke mechanical mounting and tailored software interfaces, with prototype turnarounds offered from 20 days.
Martin Ware, managing director EU at Xcellence Display Solutions, said: “We engineer, manufacture, test and support every display and product we make, end to end, worldwide. This structure enables us to support partners with consistency, speed and direct access to the teams behind the technology.”
Tim de Ruiter, commercial director EU at Xcellence Display Solutions, added: “Customers want the reliability and capabilities of a proven global manufacturer, but they also want choice, flexibility and direct access to the people behind the technology. Xcellence provides all three.”
