The winners of the first-ever ISE Stand Design Awards competition were announced yesterday afternoon during a presentation ceremony at the Audio Solutions Theatre. Organised by EXHIBITOR magazine, an award-winning monthly publication featuring best practices for trade show marketing, the Stand Design Awards were created to recognise the stand-design efforts of the exhibitors at ISE 2017.
The nominees were divided into three size-based categories: 6-39sqm, 40–100sqm and over 100sqm. The independent panel of judges, charged with picking the winners from a shortlist of 21 stands, were: Matthias Braun, creative director, Studio Atelier Damböck Messebau; Dick de Jong, manager of presentations and collections, NEMO Science Museum, Amsterdam;
Aleksey Kozyrev, exhibition design team lead, Wargaming Group; and Andrew Sexton, creative director and agency partner, 2LK Design, UK.
