The first two hearing loop drivers in Contacta’s new range are being announced at ISE 2017. With product concepts at the show, the first to launch are compact 5A drivers.
Contacta’s new range will have five drivers in total, with a variety of power levels and outputs to drive a plethora of hearing loops.
The company’s latest drivers are designed to produce supreme sound quality, offering automatic gain control and ‘superior’ phasing performance.
The output stage is based on technology which the company says is ‘proven in both the pro audio world and high-end hi-fi sector’ to achieve life-like speech and first-class music reproduction.
The range employs Class D technology and digital signal processing together, making the drivers extremely efficient. Unlike many conventional drivers, these do not require fan cooling and have compact heat-sinks, designed to deliver quieter and easier to maintain products.
A new user interfacemakes adjusting the loop parameters effortless, says Contacta, while Euroblock connectors enable swift installation. Dual output drivers are being introduced into the range, simplifying purchasing and installing phased hearing loop solutions.
Contacta says its drivers are created with the installer and user in mind, with each decision in the design process ensuring that the product works soundly for everyone.
