Contacta agrees distribution partnership with AVSL

Assistive hearing specialists, Contacta, have announced a partnership with UK electronics distributor, AVSL Group.

The deal has been agreed after the Manchester-based group identified a gap in their product range that includes commercial and consumer AV, sound, lighting, and musical equipment.

AVSL will now supply Contacta’s induction loops and speech transfer systems to their network of more than 600 installers and trade customers.

Rachel Moran, sales and marketing director at AVSL Group said: “We’re thrilled to introduce Contacta as our exclusive supplier of induction hearing loops and speech transfer systems, adding their entire range to our comprehensive loop drivers offering.

“We were keen to extend our provision for installers and Contacta has enabled us to offer a complete range with industry-leading credentials. There’s an audible difference for people with hearing loss, and the systems are ideal for installations large and small.

“Our loyal and ever-growing installer base are excited to offer these products to their customers, particularly in light of January’s new revision of the BS 8300 Standard which now specifies hearing loop systems in greater detail, aiming to make all buildings inclusive for disabled users.”
