“In 2018, Absen manufactured some 240,000sqm of LED screens – the equivalent of just under one football pitch size every week,” head of brand and marketing Alex Couzins told the ISE Daily, as he explained the company’s many new products, innovations and achievements.
The stand this year is its biggest ever, covering 264sqm, the hero of which is the ‘Fine Pixel Generation’ line of narrow pixel pitch displays. Couzins and his colleagues are also showing the latest LED solutions for retail, live events and entertainment, as well as OOH and sports venues, including the Polaris, Acclaim and N-Plus ranges.
Absen is set to partner with a number of providers within its ISE stand and beyond: the company is using Pixera media servers from AV Stumpfl on its LED displays, and collaborating with Green Hippo/Notch on an interactive LED archway.
Couzins added that the company has established a new distributor deal with German company Kern & Stelly, giving it better access to the region’s corporate and rental markets.
Absen’s team is helping to advise visitors about different use cases and giving one-to-one demonstrations, as well as hosting daily presentations at 11:00 and 16:00 and evening drinks on the stand.
