Announced towards the end of last year, iiyama is highlighting the ProLite TF6537UHSC-B1AG 65in 4K resolution large-format display at ISE 2017. Designed for continuous operation, the new screen features PCAP (projected capacitive touch) multi-touch technology that allows up to 50 simultaneous touch events. It also features an anti-glare coating to reduce ambient reflection in high-brightness environments.
Incorporating LED-backlit technology and an IPS panel, the display is said to offer low power consumption and reliable long-term operation for 24/7 usage. It has been labelled A+ energy efficient (EC rating).
iiyama has utilised 6H scratch-resistant 5mm thick touch sensor glass, which is also 60950-1 ball-drop test proof, allowing the TF6537UHSC-B1AG to be deployed for use in public environments susceptible to the possibility of misuse. Capable of landscape, portrait or face-up orientation, it is, the company believes, an excellent solution for interactive digital signage, retail applications, kiosks and interactive presentations.
