TLS launches analogue/digital presentation solution

New from TLS Communication GmbH, the Pathfinder A/D conference room system enables the switching of analogue and digital signals.

New from TLS Communication GmbH, the Pathfinder A/D conference room system enables the switching of analogue and digital signals.

In total, the solution allows up to 36 connected users to enjoy peripheral access without software to a common LCD screen and data/video projector in Full HD resolution, as well as an audio amplifier and LAN network – without signal conversion or compression.

Designed for maximum flexibility, Pathfinder A/D can be implemented rapidly with the installation of three readymade cables. The system switches automatically and directly at the playback device to an analogue or digital source, while it is also possible to undertake the transmission of HDCP-protected content.

The solution is houses in a stylish table connection module that can be individually fitted to any furniture and delivered with a customised table design if required.

Kristina Kleinpeter, vice-president of TLS, told IE: “Pathfinder A/D is a presentation system that provides a solution to the requirements of today’s conference rooms. The use of analogue and digital notebooks and more digital playback devices, including Blu-ray players, means that both VGA and HDMI/DVI signal capacity is necessary. We do not expect this mix of requirements to change in the next five years, so we have developed Pathfinder A/D to satisfy the demand for both analogue and digital signals. The solution is characterised by reliability, flexibility, straightforward installation and maximum ease of use, and the outstanding feedback received from our clients has already confirmed the validity of our approach.”
