CODA Audio cardioid array makes Polish debut with Led4Live

Deployed in Opole, Poland, an 18-element ViFORCE line array with SUB FORCE subwoofers and Dante-enabled LINUS DSP amplification marks the manufacturer's first full cardioid system delivery in the country

A CODA Audio cardioid sound reinforcement system has been delivered to technical production company Led4Live, marking the first deployment of the manufacturer’s ViFORCE platform in Poland.

Sourced through Polish distributor Tommex, the inventory features 18 ViFORCE line array enclosures paired with four SUB FORCE subwoofers. Built around the manufacturer’s wideband cardioid acoustic architecture, the four-way system provides broadband directivity control down through low frequencies to eliminate rearward energy spill onto the performance stage.

Infill and monitoring requirements are supported by four CODA Audio HOPS7-Pro point-source enclosures for front-fill duties, four D-Cube loudspeakers for near-field coverage, and two CUE TWO three-way stage wedges.

The system is driven by CODA Audio’s Dante-enabled LINUS digital signal processing and amplification architecture. The touring package incorporates one 10U LINUS T-RACK containing three LINUS 14D four-channel DSP amplifiers, complemented by four 3U LINUS M-RACK units housing single LINUS 14D engines, with digital distribution handled via LiNET Master routing.

The system made its production debut at the Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic concert hall in Olsztyn, providing front-of-house reinforcement for a live orchestral and contemporary performance by Polish vocalist Anna Wyszkoni.

Tomasz Lysiane, owner at Led4Live, said: “The decision to purchase the CODA Audio ViFORCE/SUB FORCE system took careful account of the type of system we needed to meet our specific requirements, and I’m now convinced that a fully cardioid system was the correct solution. Added to that, the flexibility of the software and the compatibility across the entire CODA Audio product range provides a sense of operational confidence that allows me to deliver top-tier service to my clients.”
