White Light and Coemar are teaming up to offer a prize of six LEDko units for those needing to retrofit their outdated lighting package. The competition, in which interested companies or individuals can submit a video or storyboard of their current lighting package, was launched at PLASA Focus in Leeds.
The competition is open to all staging, studio, installation and corporate theatre professionals and amateurs throughout the UK.
The entry that is deemed most in need of, or having faced the biggest issues in their lighting, will be awarded the prize at the PLASA Show in September. White Light and Coemar are encouraging people to explain how the Coemar products will benefit them in their day to day use.
The lighting package on offer includes Coemar’s Reflection LEDko FullSpectrum, Reflection LEDko VariWhite 3000/7000 K and Reflection LEDko White 3200 K with an option of one of the following optics: Reflection Soft profile 12/30° F Lens, Reflection Soft profile 12/30° PC Lens, Profile zoom 18/40° HD Lens.
The Reflection LEDko FullSpectrum is described as an innovative “Multi-LED” light source producing a uniform beam with no pixels or dots and with spectrum colour mixing and all whites from 3200K to 9000K and digital colour filters. It is said to be ideal for very low noise applications. The Reflection LEDko VariWhite 3000/7000 K features colour temperature control, proportional from 3000K to 7000K.
Submission deadline is 17 August 2012 at midnight, and the winner will be announced 9 September 2012 at the PLASA show.
