The ISE Hackathon returned for its second edition at ISE 2026, bringing together 60 selected finalists from 17 European universities to develop solutions to real-world AV industry challenges across three tracks – Sustainability, Innovation and Cybersecurity. Working in teams over 48 hours, participants had direct access to the ISE show floor, allowing them to engage with exhibitors and industry professionals to validate and refine their ideas in real time.
Teams presented their final solutions at the Innovation Park Pitching Stage, with winners announced on the final day of the show. The Sustainability Track, sponsored by Philips Professional Displays, was won by Daniil Larkovskiy, Volodymyr Baranov, Alisa Turan and Mishti Ramnani from EU Business School. The Innovation Track, sponsored by SETT, was won by Librada Morales Parrilla, Mariona Sillaurren Piera, Serena Wilson and Xavier Súñer Rubió from CETT-UB, Universitat de Barcelona. The Cybersecurity Track, sponsored by Hikvision, was won by Veronika Borysiuk, Anora Azimova, Josep Aguilera and Marc Joaquin Serra from EU Business School and Esade.

The ISE Hackathon will return in 2027, alongside ISE itself, which takes place at Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from February 2-5, 2027.
