Digitalisation journey continues at Smart Workplace Summit

Tomorrow's (Thursday) Smart Workplace Summit at ISE 2025 will address themes such as data-driven insights, AI and cybersecurity

As companies continue to embrace BYOD, hybrid work and AI, tomorrow’s (Thursday, February 6) Smart Workplace Summit will explore ways in which the decision-making process can be revolutionised through data-driven insights; how AI can be employed effectively; and how the workplace digital transformation continues to evolve.

Cybersecurity expert Shaun Reardon

Host Gary Keene, audio-visual architect at the University of the Arts London, will welcome speakers including Claudia Feiner, AI, IT, web 3 & gaming consultant, leader and mentor, who will kick things off with a keynote looking at how AI and sustainability can work together to create future-proof systems that can be used in the AV industry.

This will be followed by AVIXA economist Peter Hansen sharing the latest research on and trends in smart workplaces, and Matt Tucker, director of research, IFMA, exploring the multifaceted role of AI in facility management, delving into its capabilities and applications.

This afternoon sees the focus shift to cybersecurity, with Shaun Reardon, principal cybersecurity consultant, DNV, considering. Cybersecurity challenges in AV systems, and Adam Pilton, senior cyber security consultant, CyberSmart, highlighting how a balanced approach to incident response; one that integrates people, communication and structured processes, can be the difference between a cyberattack being successful or not, using a hack as a real-world example.

Smart Workplace Summit takes place tomorrow (February 6, Thursday) from 10:30-18:00 in room CC4.1.
