How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
This is my third year attending ISE with Ross Video. As VP of sales for the EMEA region, I’m focused on strengthening relationships with customers, partners, and consultants across the market. This year is shaping up to be our biggest ISE yet: our CEO, David Ross, will deliver a keynote at the Broadcast AV Summit, we’ll power the AVIXA TV Studio, we’ll debut Vertex, our new experiential technology platform, and we’ll showcase end-to-end solutions for live events spaces across sports venues, multipurpose spaces, corporate environments, museums and more.
What are you most looking forward to seeing or experiencing at ISE?
ISE provides a great opportunity to connect with customers from a wide variety of industries. I’m looking forward to meeting people face to face from corporate clients to sport venues, theatres and museums. Getting a better understanding on what they’re working on, the challenges they’re facing, and how Ross help them deliver more efficient, more creative and more immersive productions.
Which tech trends do you think will dominate the show floor and why?
As we head into ISE 2026, organisations across the industry are prioritising intuitive and scalable solutions that elevate audience engagement. Companies are ready to invest in the technology needed to deliver these results, but with the continued high cost of capital, flexibility and various financial models are becoming increasingly important considerations. This environment is driving strong interest in IP, cloud, automation, and AI, and technologies that enable teams to create richer, more immersive experiences while maintaining operational and financial agility.
How has the AV industry evolved since the last ISE, and how will it be reflected at the show?
We’ve seen a clear shift toward unified, integrated workflows. Customers want systems that connect video, audio, lighting, and control in a seamless and immersive way, without the complexity associated with large-scale production. This is driving demand for platforms that are flexible, scalable, and easier to operate. At the show, I expect to see more solutions that emphasise interoperability, automation, and user-friendly design, reflecting a broader push toward efficiency and creative freedom.
Do you have an opinion on the ongoing convergence between AV and broadcast, something ISE is reflecting in both the diversity of its exhibitors and its events programming?
Absolutely. The convergence between AV and broadcast is accelerating, and it’s reshaping expectations for live content. Audiences now expect high-end productions in every environment, whether it’s a corporate studio, a theatre, an esports venue, or a live event space. AV teams are increasingly adopting more complex workflows, while broadcast teams are embracing AV-style flexibility. In such a rapidly evolving landscape, teams are also being asked to learn and manage more technology than ever before. That’s exactly why Ross designs end-to-end solutions that bridge both worlds while simplifying operations, helping organisations deliver polished, professional experiences without adding complexity.
Are there any particular product categories or solutions you’re prioritising this year, and why?
We’re placing particular emphasis on unified control solutions, immersive experience technologies, and highly integrated production systems. Customers want tools that simplify workflows, reduce operator burden, and scale across different environments, from stadiums and auditoriums to corporate studios and live events. Our focus is on delivering solutions that combine power, flexibility, creativity and ease of use.
What will you be launching or showcasing at ISE 2026, and what problem does it solve for your customers?
At ISE 2026, we’re unveiling Vertex – our new experiential technology platform. Vertex unifies video, audio, lighting, and control into a single system, allowing creators to design, manage, and automate immersive environments with unprecedented simplicity. It removes the fragmentation that often slows down large-scale experiential projects and gives customers a more efficient, cohesive way to bring interactive installations, projection mapping, and live experiences to life.
We’ll also be showcasing our full ecosystem of solutions for Broadcast AV and Sports & Entertainment, demonstrating how Ross helps venues of all sizes deliver engaging high-quality productions.
How do you plan to make your booth experience stand out on the busy show floor?
Our booth will be highly experiential. Visitors will be able to interact with Vertex firsthand, see real-world production workflows in action, and explore solutions that directly address their sector, whether that’s stadium, corporate communications, theatre, or live event production. We’re also connecting the booth experience with the AVIXA Corporate Studio powered by Ross, giving attendees a behind the scenes look at integrated workflows operating in a real production environment. Additionally, visitors will be able to book demos and meetings with the Ross team to dive deeper into the technologies and solutions that matter most to them.
What conversations are you hoping to have with visitors to your stand?
I’m really looking forward to having genuine, face-to-face conversations with people from all kinds of spaces. It’s a valuable opportunity to understand not just what they’re building, but the demands their internal and external clients are placing on them, the pressures this creates, and how they’re navigating it all. These discussions help us learn where technology can meaningfully ease their workload, streamlining processes, increasing reliability, and giving them more freedom to create engaging, impactful content. Ultimately, those insights guide how Ross can support them in delivering smoother, smarter and more imaginative productions.
