How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
I’ve attended ISE four times (2022–2025) as a product manager. This year will be my fifth visit, and my first as a product marketing manager, which gives me a new perspective on both the audience and the industry conversations happening at the show.
What are you most looking forward to seeing, or experiencing at ISE?
I’m especially looking forward to the Spark event. Supporting creativity with technology is something I’m passionate about.
Which tech trends do you think will dominate the show floor and why?
Artificial Intelligence will be a major theme. AI has quickly become integrated into many AV workflows as standalone tools, and sometimes quietly embedded in existing products.
How has the AV industry evolved since the last ISE, and how will it be reflected at the show?
The shift toward IP-based workflows and open standards has accelerated, along with demand for scalability, remote management, and efficient system design. I expect to see more solutions emphasising interoperability and flexible infrastructure.
Do you have an opinion on the ongoing convergence between AV and broadcast, something ISE is reflecting in both the diversity of its exhibitors and also its events programming?
The convergence between the two industries is both undeniable and inevitable. As IP technologies mature, the workflows and requirements of AV and broadcast continue to overlap, enabling more unified and versatile system designs.
What role does ISE play in your business planning and decision-making for the year ahead?
ISE is one of our most important shows. It is an excellent opportunity to gather feedback from new and existing customers, learn about upcoming projects and track evolving market trends. Insights from the show guide our product roadmaps and inspire new product marketing initiatives for the new year.
Are there any particular product categories or solutions you’re prioritising this year, and why?
At Matrox, we continue to offer a range of video-over-IP solutions, focusing on open standards like IPMX, ST 2110 and NMOS. At ISE, I’m prioritising understanding how other vendors are adopting these standards and how different products can interoperate across the ecosystem.
What will you be launching or showcasing at ISE 2026, and what problem does it solve for your customers?
At ISE 2026, we will be showcasing our video-over-IP solutions and technology, designed to make interoperability and system scalability even easier. Across multiple product categories, new product updates address common challenges our customers face when expanding or modernising their infrastructures.
How do you plan to make your booth experience stand out on the busy show floor?
Our goal is to create an approachable booth experience that focuses on real-life applications, hands-on demos, and one-on-one conversations with booth visitors, so they understand the value our technology brings to their everyday challenges.
What conversations are you hoping to have with visitors to your stand?
I’m hoping to speak with visitors about their evolving IP requirements, upcoming projects, and any challenges they’re facing with open-standards adoption. Understanding where they are in their transition to IP and the interoperability they need helps us better support their workflows and refine our solutions to meet real market demands.
