How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
ISE 2026 will be my fourth visit, all in a commercial capacity for MRMC. My focus at the show is always on supporting our channel partners, meeting new and existing clients, and understanding how our broadcast robotics roadmap can align with wider AV developments.
What are you most looking forward to seeing or experiencing at ISE?
ISE brings the entire AV ecosystem under one roof, and I’m particularly looking forward to seeing how end-users are integrating automation into their workflows. The crossover between traditional AV, broadcast robotics, and virtual production has accelerated massively, so it’s a great place to validate customer needs and spot emerging opportunities.
I’m also looking forward to meeting with all our trusted channel partners and catching up with old friends and colleagues to get the latest industry gossip and trends.
Which tech trends do you think will dominate the show floor and why?
I expect to see three clear themes:
- Automation – driven by the need for consistent, repeatable content creation.
- AI-assisted operation – especially camera tracking, subject detection and automated control.
- Integrated virtual studios and LED workflows – the demand for immersive corporate content continues to grow.
These trends reflect a shift towards efficiency and scalability, and they align strongly with where MRMC is innovating.
How has the AV industry evolved since the last ISE, and how will it be reflected at the show?
The AV industry has become increasingly content-centric. Corporate studios are now producing broadcast-level material, and the demand for high-quality, automated camera movement has moved far beyond traditional broadcast environments.
This year’s ISE will show more crossover solutions – AV products that look and behave like broadcast tools, and broadcast tools that now integrate seamlessly into AV systems.
Do you have an opinion on the ongoing convergence between AV and broadcast?
Yes – this convergence is now impossible to ignore.
As organisations move towards in-house content creation, they expect the precision and reliability of broadcast tools packaged in an AV-friendly ecosystem. ISE is reflecting this shift perfectly: the exhibitor list is more diverse, and the show’s programming increasingly mirrors what you’d traditionally find at a broadcast trade show.
For MRMC, this crossover is exactly where our motion-control robotics deliver value.
What role does ISE play in your business planning and decision-making for the year ahead?
ISE is one of the key checkpoints in our annual strategy. It allows us to reconnect with our global channel network, validate product positioning, and gather real-world insights from integrators and end-users. The conversations we have at ISE directly influence our channel strategy, our product focus, and the support programmes we build for partners throughout the year.
Are there any particular product categories or solutions you’re prioritising this year, and why?
Yes, MRMC is placing a strong focus on cost-effective robotics for corporate and studio automation, such as the Studiobot LT and our automated rail and lift systems.
These solutions meet the growing demand from brands, agencies, and enterprises wanting higher production value without expanding their staffing or technical overhead.
We’re also seeing significant traction in PTZ automation, integration with LED virtual environments, and compact rail systems suitable for smaller studios — all of which we are prioritising through our channel.
How do you plan to make your booth experience stand out on the busy show floor?
Our approach is to focus on live, hands-on demonstrations. Visitors will be able to see the robots in motion, interact with our control software, and understand how our systems integrate with PTZs, cinema and broadcast cameras, LED volumes, and automation workflows.
We want people to immediately visualise how these tools can fit into their own studios – practical, tangible demonstrations always resonate the most.
What conversations are you hoping to have with visitors to your stand?
We’re looking to speak with system integrators, channel partners, and end-users about:
- Automating small and medium-sized studios
- Corporate and brand-studio content creation
- Integrating robotics with PTZ and LED workflows
- Opportunities for channel expansion and collaboration
Ultimately, we want to understand the challenges organisations face in scaling their content output – and show how MRMC robotics can help them achieve that efficiently and creatively.
