International integrator proAV has embarked on a major recruitment drive following strong sales and lucrative project wins that have seen turnover rise by more than 10% year on year.

The AV systems integration company has more than 30 vacancies advertised on its website. It is looking for technical personnel for UK and Europe posts, administrative staff for its UK, US and Shanghai offices and business development personnel in its Surrey and Birmingham offices. Additionally, an array of technical and engineering specialists are required to fulfil roles across London and the home counties.

proAV’s operations director, Francesca Hazell, sees proAV’s high profile capability in AV’s global markets as a key appeal to potential recruits. “As our global presence continues to influence our growth, we’re attracting increasing interest from AV professionals,” she said. “Our new VNOC is considered a centre of international service excellence and now offers one of the industry’s most groundbreaking support services operations. As we move further into pioneering processes, including remote monitoring and protection and networked AV solutions, our ability to recruit, train and retain the very best in AV has become an intrinsic part of our corporate culture. So, if there are AV professionals out there who want to develop their career further or take on a new challenge within this inspirational market, we’d love to hear from them.”

According to the company, factors that make it “the employer of choice in the AV industry” include its progressive attitude to career advancement, great employment packages and exciting working environments; it has a reputation for nurturing talent and fast-tracking aspiring and ambitious team members.

Another sign of proAV’s expansion is the acquisition of a fourth building in Egham to increase the organisation’s warehousing capacity.
