It wasn’t England’s night at the Kaliningrad Stadium, but any gloom cast by that result at the Install Awards 2018 was soon forgotten.
Over dinner at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London, the guests watched Belgium beat England 1-0 on the big screen, before the awards presentations began.
The evening was hosted by comedian Jimmy McGhie, returning as host after last year’s event. He regaled the audience with his musings on giving children posh names, why a fat survivalist is a good survivalist, and why audience member Ken Callen from HI Audio Visual should host the event next year.
The evening saw awards presented in four categories: Project Excellence, Technology Excellence, Company Excellence, and Hall of Fame.
