Martin Audio has appointed Shanghai Univision as a new distribution partner in China, strengthening its presence in the country’s enterprise AV market.
Shanghai Univision joins existing distributors Sino Huifeng and Guangzhou Guidance, and will deliver dedicated expertise to the corporate, education and government sectors, supporting consultants and integrators with application-specific design and deployment.
Under the agreement, Shanghai Univision becomes the sole distributor for Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision WPS series, Torus 820 constant curvature array and O-Line modular micro line array. The Shanghai-headquartered firm also operates regional hubs in Beijing and Shenzhen, providing pre-sales and after-sales support for complex system deployments.
David Wong, director of sales at Generation AV, Martin Audio’s APAC representative, said: “Shanghai Univision has a proven track record of success in the enterprise and AV installation market in China. The partnership was unveiled at a customer event in Beijing attended by more than 100 industry professionals, including consultants, system integrators and dealers, and on Shanghai Univision’s booth at the Pro Light & Sound Guangzhou show.
