ATC, a UK-based live event technology specialist, has established its first mainland European base, opening a facility in Ghent, Belgium, that will operate as a warehouse, preparation and logistics hub for dry hire, cross-hire and full project delivery across the region.

The company, which manages an inventory of more than 100,000 items spanning audio, video, lighting, staging, rigging and power, says the Belgian location was selected for its central position within the Northern European events market. Technology partners include Unilumin, ROE Visual, d&b audiotechnik, L-Acoustics and Barco.
Andrew Thomas, managing director at ATC, said: “Launching ATC Europe allows us to bring that same service-led approach to customers across mainland Europe. By combining a local European base with the scale and experience of our UK operations, we can support production partners working across multiple markets.”
Operations in Belgium will be led by Jarno Boucquez, Belgium operations manager, who will oversee the regional expansion.
Jarno Boucquez, Belgium operations manager at ATC Europe, said: “By combining that with local inventory and the wider resources of the ATC team in the UK, we’re able to support projects of any scale across Europe.”
To mark the launch, ATC will host a three-day open house at the Ghent facility on April 22-24.
