AVB (Audio/Video Bridging) has been one of pro-A/V’s hottest topics over the past 18 months, thanks in no small part to the efforts of AVB-supporting group the AVnu Alliance.
The industry association already counts the likes of Avid, Barco, Harman, Sennheiser, Lab X Technologies and Meyer Sound among its members, and now it has been joined by TC Group – parent company of leading audio brands TC Electronic, Tannoy, Lab.gruppen, Lake and TC Helicon.
Publicising the move at ISE, TC Group said that its specialist division, TC Applied Technologies, was already at work on technologies intended to be in line with proposed AVB standards.
