The SDVoE Alliance, a non-profit consortium of technology providers working to standardise the use of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional environments, has announced that PureLink has joined as an adopting member.
The SDVoE platform is built on a 10Gbps Ethernet architecture known as the “Power of 10”. The alliance says it enables high-performance AV applications with zero latency and uncompressed video, with scalable system design over standard network infrastructure. PureLink, a provider of AV signal management and connectivity products, is positioned to use these capabilities to support increasingly complex AV environments.
Founded in 2006, PureLink is headquartered in Rheine, Germany, and serves customers in more than 85 countries. Its portfolio of about 3,000 SKUs covers video conferencing, modern workspace connectivity and USB-C technology, including the PureInstall and FlexInstall series, FiberX active optical cables, PureTools signal management, Vuelogic and mediahub2.
Christian Ahrens, CEO of PureLink, said: “Joining the SDVoE Alliance is an important step in our continued commitment to delivering high-performance AV solutions built for the future. As customer demand grows for more scalable, flexible and interoperable AVoIP systems, SDVoE provides a powerful technology platform that aligns perfectly with our vision for next-generation AV infrastructure.”
Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance, added: “PureLink has built a strong reputation for dependable AV connectivity and signal management solutions across a wide range of markets. We’re excited to welcome them to the Alliance as an adopting member and look forward to collaborating on solutions that help integrators and end users unlock the full potential of Ethernet-based AV.”
