AVMI boosts global enterprise offering

Integrator expands in New York and Hong Kong; launches new website to promote globally standardised solutions

International integrator AVMI has bolstered its enterprise service model with the expansion of its New York and Hong Kong operations. It has also launched a new website, addressing the growing demand from enterprises to standardise AV solutions globally.

The London-headquartered company has made several new management and operational appointments in its New York and Hong Kong offices. It is in the process of relocating both offices into larger premises to accommodate the expected growth within these regions.

“We are thrilled about the rapid growth we have experienced in the US and APAC, after only opening the New York and Hong Kong offices in 2016,” commented Ed Cook, CEO at AVMI.

Launched today, AVMI’s new website marks the growth of its Global Enterprise Framework, a set of services designed to enable enterprise clients to implement and support standardised AV solutions across their organisation in a more scalable and cost-effective way.

The website will also be home to the growing number of articles and blog posts that will address and answer the challenges that companies face in implementing and supporting their global AV strategies.

Supported by AVMI’s global offices and sub-contractor network, the service Global Enterprise Framework enables clients to achieve their strategic goals by delivering multiple AV projects consistently and simultaneously, at speed and scale. The offering addresses AV standards design, programme management, project design and delivery, and includes a 24-hour, follow-the-sun support service, which features over-the-network support capabilities.

Customers of the Global Enterprise Framework include a bank undergoing a group-wide workplace transformation programme to support more agile-based working methods; a professional services firm implementing a real estate rationalisation programme to reduce global AV running costs; and a technology firm deploying standardised event and broadcasting spaces around its offices to promote effective information sharing with employees and clients.

AVMI has also secured a string of global maintenance deals covering over 40 countries across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas.

“The launch of our Global Enterprise Framework marks a significant milestone in our company’s history,” said John Masters, AVMI’s business development and marketing director. “The framework enables the consistent delivery of standardised designs across multiple projects in many locations, whilst ensuring a consistent and superior experience for everyone in the organisation that encounters the technology solutions – the users, IT teams and facilities management.”

“Our international offices play a strategic role in our ability to deliver a seamless service experience for our international clients and customers signed up to our Global Enterprise Framework,” added Ed Cook. “We look forward to helping even more clients to capitalise on the strategic benefits that AV technology can bring to their businesses”.
