AVIXA provides free training programme for AV pros during lockdown

The organisation has also made all of its online education courses available for free until June 12

In addition to making its full catalogue of online education courses free until June 12, AVIXA has launched a free programme of online courses, presentations, and webinars in Spanish, German, Italian, French and English.

Sessions are aimed at professionals and students seeking to learn from home during the COVID-19 quarantine and will be taught by industry experts covering a range of topics. The online training is suited to those who want to refresh their knowledge in key areas, as well as serving as effective preparation for those studying for their Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exam.

“We are keen to support the industry in any way we can during this very difficult time,” said Chris Lavelle, senior director of development EMEA, AVIXA. “By offering free high-quality education and training across a variety of languages and territories, we hope that members can use this opportunity to improve their knowledge and work toward qualifications, so that we can all return stronger in the future. These sessions are being held in addition to our other English language offerings, and I encourage AV professionals to keep checking back on AVIXA’s website for the latest updates on training opportunities, as more events are being added.”
