CTI acquires Pittsburgh broadcast integrator Texolve Digital

Purchase adds specialist in stadium broadcast engineering – with credits across all three of Pittsburgh’s major league sports venues – to AV integration and events provider’s growing Broadcast Media Division

CTI, the largest privately held AV integration and events provider in the US, has acquired Texolve Digital of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, a broadcast engineering and integration specialist with credits across all three of Pittsburgh’s major professional sports venues.

Texolve provides broadcast engineering and integration at Acrisure Stadium, home of the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, PPG Paints Arena, home of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, and PNC Park, home of MLB’s Pittsburgh Pirates. The acquisition expands CTI’s Broadcast Media Division, which already counts the New York Stock Exchange, the Houston Rockets, the University of Michigan and the Philadelphia Union among its clients.

John Laughlin, CEO of CTI, said: “I don’t think there’s another broadcast engineering and integration company in the US that provides broadcast solutions for all the major league sports in their city. Their focus on problem-solving and client satisfaction makes them a strong fit for the culture here at CTI.”

CTI operates from 48 locations across the US as well as a London office, serving clients globally as a member of the PSNI Global Alliance. The company has served the corporate, sports, broadcast, healthcare and government markets since 1988.
