Amino Communications has been acquired by Sapphire Technology Group Limited (STGL), establishing private ownership intended to support product development and operational growth across its digital signage, pro AV, and pay TV portfolio. STGL is wholly owned by Keith Todd CBE, who previously served as Amino’s chairman from 2007 to 2019.

The acquisition is designed to simplify Amino’s capital structure and accelerate its device and platform roadmap. Leadership and customer-facing teams remain unchanged.

Mark Carlisle, CEO of Amino, said: “This investment allows us to intensify our focus on product execution, operational efficiency and customer outcomes. With stable private ownership behind us, we are accelerating innovation across our device and platform portfolio while maintaining the continuity our customers expect.”

Amino serves enterprise and operator customers worldwide, delivering device and software solutions for digital signage networks, enterprise video deployments, and pay TV services. The company will continue operating under its existing brand with no changes to customer relationships or support models.
