Pleneo, which makes collaboration technology for shared workspaces, has taken a top position in the Workplace category of Fast Company‘s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026 list – the US business media title’s annual ranking of organisations redefining their industries through design, technology and real-world impact.
Fast Company noted that the workplace sector is being shaped by increasing complexity and evolving employee expectations, with the most meaningful innovations being those that reduce friction rather than add capability for its own sake.
James Knight, CEO of Pleneo, said: “The challenge for designing technology for workspaces has never been about simply adding more of the latest solutions – it’s about making technology disappear. Our inclusion in the Most Innovative Companies reflects our deep understanding of how people use shared spaces and creating solutions that adapt to them, rather than forcing them to adapt to the technology.”
