22live relaunches open day at new Redditch HQ

UK pro-audio service provider has rescheduled its Test Drive event for March, after move to larger facility forced postponement of original September date

UK pro-audio service provider 22live is throwing open the doors of its new 28,000 sq ft headquarters in Redditch, Worcestershire – around 15 miles south of Birmingham, UK, on March 18, 2026 for a full-day hands-on event aimed at professionals working in live sound, touring, production and events.

The Test Drive open day, running from 10.30am to 5pm, is designed to give attendees the chance to try a range of pro-audio products in a real-world environment, with multi-track playback available across SSL and Yamaha workstations. The event was originally planned for September 2025 but was postponed following a change of premises.

Kit on show will include d&b audiotechnik’s new CCL Compact Cardioid Line Array and U-Series, DPA Microphones’ Core+ and new N-Series wireless, Martin Audio’s FlexPoint and TORUS, Sennheiser’s SPECTERA, Shure’s Axient Digital PSM and ANX4, SSL Live consoles and TCA Packages, and the Yamaha Rivage Series and DM7. KLVR, iSEMcon and Rational Acoustics will also be represented. Brand representatives and product specialists will be on hand throughout the day, alongside a seminar schedule covering all brands on display.

Alex Penn, commercial director at 22live, said: “After originally planning to host this open day in September 2025, we were forced to postpone as our plans changed and we moved to an entirely different building. We hope that relaunching now will develop even more interest as we are in a bigger, more exciting space.”

Penn added: “We wanted to give people an opportunity to experience some of pro-audio’s hottest products in a new format, which should help people to make better educated decisions in their equipment choices for both hire and sales.”

Entry is free but spaces are limited. Registration is available at www.22live.com. The event takes place at 22live, Burnt Meadow House, Redditch.
