SDVoE Alliance welcomes WaveSplitter as Adopting Member

WaveSplitter Technologies, Inc., a provider of optical networking and signal distribution solutions, joins the SDVoE Alliance to support high-performance Ethernet-based AV applications

The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardise the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, announces that WaveSplitter Technologies, Inc. has joined the Alliance as an Adopting Member.

Founded in 1996, WaveSplitter is a leading provider of high-performance optical solutions. WaveSplitter specialises in the development and manufacturing of optical transceivers, modules and video distribution technologies for optical networking and AV signal distribution. Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, WaveSplitter supports high-performance data transmission and real-time signal management across a range of industries, including enterprise networking, telecommunications infrastructure and professional AV.

WaveSplitter enables high-bandwidth data transmission, flexible system design and scalable deployment across both single-room installations and larger networked environments. Wavesplitter’s solutions are used in applications such as content distribution, signal transport and real-time video processing, where reliability and low-latency performance are critical.

“We’re excited to become a member of the SDVoE Alliance,” said Perry Lin, chief financial officer for WaveSplitter Technologies, Inc. “Joining the Alliance gives us the opportunity to contribute to a unified approach for delivering uncompressed, real-time video over Ethernet while continuing to innovate in high-speed signal transport.”

Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance, added: “WaveSplitter brings expertise in optical networking and the underlying infrastructure that makes high-bandwidth AV-over-IP possible. Their experience in enabling reliable, high-speed data transmission strengthens the SDVoE ecosystem and supports the growing demand for robust, network-based AV systems.”

The SDVoE platform is built on a 10 Gbps Ethernet architecture known as the “Power of 10,” enabling high-performance AV applications with zero latency, uncompressed video and scalable system design over standard network infrastructure. As a provider of optical networking and signal distribution solutions, WaveSplitter is well-positioned to leverage these capabilities to support increasingly complex AV environments.
