SDVoE Alliance to showcase members’ AVoIP solutions

Consortium promoting Ethernet-based AV transport will present live demos at ISE 2026 from AVPro Edge and DVIGear, highlighting real-time, low-latency performance for gaming and immersive applications

SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit industry consortium working to standardise the use of Ethernet to transport audio and video signals in pro AV environments, will present live demonstrations at ISE 2026 that highlight real-time, uncompressed 10GbE AVoIP performance from member companies AVPro Edge and DVIGear.

The demonstrations, staged on the SDVoE Alliance stand, are intended to show how SDVoE-based systems can support demanding workflows where latency and image quality are critical – from competitive gaming to interactive immersive installations.

AVPro Edge will present an esports-oriented setup built around its AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR transceiver. The device is designed to output both SDVoE and H.26x video streams from a single unit, enabling uncompressed 10GbE video for gameplay while a compressed H.26x stream is simultaneously fed into OBS software to simulate a live production workflow. The demonstration is also intended to show hybrid configurations that mix 10G SDVoE infrastructure with 1G H.26x endpoints.

DVIGear will offer a hands-on experience with its DisplayNet Formula IP racing rig, designed to illustrate uncompressed 10GbE AVoIP imaging with minimal frame latency. The setup is intended to highlight how SDVoE’s approach to Ethernet transport can deliver high visual fidelity without the compression artefacts that can occur in lower-bandwidth networked systems.

Stephane Tremblay, president, SDVoE Alliance, said: “The demonstrations from AVPro Edge and DVIGear show how SDVoE technology can support demanding workflows, from competitive esports to interactive installations, while maintaining performance and interoperability.”

The live presentations support the SDVoE Alliance’s “Power of 10” initiative, which highlights the capabilities of 10GbE Ethernet for professional AV use. The Alliance says the standard can support uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 video, instantaneous switching, multiview and video wall configurations, KVM functionality and the transport of USB alongside video on a single network.

The SDVoE Alliance will be exhibiting at ISE 2026 from February 3-6 at Fira de Barcelona, where the demonstrations will run throughout the show.
