Crestron's AP-over-IP Week, from October 21-25, will showcase the company's DM NVX AV0IP technology and includes a product launch, awards ceremonies, webinars and training sessions

Crestron’s AP-over-IP Week, from October 21-25, is designed to showcase the company’s se and inspire creativity in its users. It will include sessions with training, webinars, an awards ceremony, and the launch of a new product.

The webinars will be led by Crestron technicians and have been formulated to provide attendees with the creative ideas to buttress the more technical training they have received.

Brad Hintze, EVP of global marketing, Crestron, said: “We’ll be sharing real-world use cases, discussing the latest industry trends, and helping attendees discover how DM NVX technology can solve complex AV challenges.”

Examples include “Unlocking Growth and Profitability — A Dealer’s Guide to Selling, Marketing, and Promoting DM NVX Technology,” “Managing DM NVX Technology at Scale (Commercial),” “Audio-over-IP and PoE Speakers (Commercial),” and “The Future of AV-over-IP in Residential: Redefining Home Entertainment.”

In addition to the webinars, there will be a live-streaming event announcing the launch of a new addition to Crestron’s line of AVoIP solutions.

The week also offers an opportunity to get up to speed on the Crestron Technical Institute’ new certification-based learning path. The Crestron Technology Architect (CTA) Certification Path is a high-level credential offered by the Crestron Technical Institute, recognising professionals who have demonstrated expertise in Crestron’s advanced control and automation technologies.

Another feature will be the announcement of the winners in the Crestron DM NVX Technology Awards Program. The awards go to “the partners who have championed the DM NVX technology as it plays a vital role in contributing to the adoption of the platform”.

Additionally, one firm will be awarded a gold DM NVX AVoIP unit – the one-millionth device off the line. The winning firm will be announced during the weeklong celebration.
