Green Hippo has launched a series of Hippotizer Media Server training courses at Pixel Academy, a dedicated AV learning facility located at the company’s R&D Innovation Centre in Maidenhead.
The academy has been developed by Green Hippo and sister brand tvONE, both part of ACT Entertainment, and is equipped with Hippotizer MX Series Media Servers, CALICO PRO creative video processors and a suite of high-resolution LED displays. Technology partners supporting the facility include Vantix Displays, B-Tech AV Mounts, Matrox Video, Lumens and NETGEAR.
The first course, a one-day foundation session focused on Hippotizer Media Servers, launches on April 14, with a second session scheduled for May 19. The courses are aimed at live event designers, operators, sales engineers, broadcast teams and integration specialists. Pixel Academy is working towards AVIXA CTS RU accreditation.
Mark Trevena, communications and training manager at tvONE, said: “This is hands-on, operator-level learning built around the way real shows are delivered. If you want to get faster, smarter and more confident with Hippotizer, this is the room to be in.”
